What does it taste like?
Kava generally has a bitter and unpleasant taste, and most people compare it to drinking dirt. Some varieties or types of kava can have a slightly milder, nuttier, or sweeter flavor, but no kava can be described as "delicious.”
Kava is generally consumed in one gulp, but to make it more palatable, we mix the extracted kava into a cocktail with juice and maple syrup so it can be savored a bit.
