Gong baths are a relaxing, meditative experience that allow you to “bathe” in the healing vibrations of the sound and frequency. No water is involved— you just need a yoga mat, and maybe a blanket. Because your body is made up of over 70% water, the vibrations flow through your physical body, bringing you into a state of sympathetic resonance.
The gentle sounds entrains our brainwaves from the normal waking beta state into the lower alpha and theta states (where the mind is relaxed and can restore). As your brain waves flow more gently along to the sounds, you are able to release the worries and stress of a hectic life and busy schedule. Through this meditative experience, your mind can open up to bring clarity, calm, and a deep inner wisdom to guide you through your day-to-day life.
